Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has released advertisement no. 18/2023-24 for 1455 Group C posts of Nursing Officer (Male and Female). Those candidate who fulfills eligibility criteria, can submit online form for UKMSSB Recruitment 2023 for Nursing Officer Posts from 12 December 2023 to 01 January 2024. These posts are to be filled in Government Medical colleges and State Cancer Institute Haldwani under Uttarakhand Medical Education Department.

Eligibility Criteria of UKMSSB NO Recruitment 2023
Age limit as on 01 July 2023
- 21-42 years for unreserved category
Upper age relaxation for reserved categories of Uttarakhand:
- 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Dependents of Freedom Fighter category candidates.
- 10 years for PH candidates

Educational Qualification
Candidate should have done:
- B.Sc. Nursing (Honours)
OR
- B.Sc. Nursing (Regular course)
OR
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
OR
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
All these qualifications should be possessed through recognized university / institute from Indian Nursing Council.
Registration from Nursing Council
Candidate need to have permanent registration certificate from Uttarakhand Nursing Midwives Council by the last date of this recruitment i.e. 01 January 2024. The receipt of registration will not be accepted. If candidate does not have valid active certificate by this date, then their candidature will be cancelled. NUID card is not registration certificate and So it is not acceptable.
Preferential Qualification:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Territorial army
- NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate
Selection Process of UKMSSB Recruitment 2023 for Nursing Officer Posts
Candidates will be selected through merit list obtained by calculation of total marks obtained by candidate in their diploma / degree qualification as per their category. Separate list will be prepared for degree and diploma holder candidates. 1.5 times the vacancies, candidates will be called for document verification in year-wise seniority list. After this, final selection list will be declared.
Pay Scale
Newly appointed candidates will be given salary as per pay scale level 7 (44900-142400) of Uttarakhand Pay Matrix.
