Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (Government of India), was established in 1977 and headquartered at New Delhi. SSC conducts various recruitment exams and interviews every year for filling several posts in various departments and ministeries of central government. Several notifications gets released by it on its website ssc.nic.in as per its exam calendar for recruitment to thousands of posts that includes following exams.
  • Combined Graduate Level (CGL)
  • Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL)
  • Junior Engineer (JE)
  • Stenographer Grade C and D
  • Multitasking Staff (MTS), Havaldar

The vision and objective of the commission is to select suitable candidates for various group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) and group ‘C’ (Non-Technical) levels in a fair and transparent manner.

There are nine Regional Offices / Sub-Regional Offices of the commission that includes East, West, North, South, North-East, North-West, MPR, KKR, CR regions. Among all these, Northern region is the largest covering Delhi/NCR, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand states.
SSC release admit card of its exams / interviews through online mode. It may also send them offline if mentioned in notification. Also status of application gets notified on these portals if the exam date comes nearer.

How to download SSC Admit card 2023 from regional websites

You have to visit the website of your region (state / UT) shown in table. There you have to click on admit card link given here. On the download page, you have to enter your registration number and password. After successful downloading, you can check personal details, exam date, roll number, address of centre allocated etc. You have to take the printout of hall ticket and bring it to the test centre on exam date as per the reporting time mentioned.
