State Bank of India (SBI) has released advertisement no. RPD/CR/2023-24/27 through which it has invited online forms from eligible candidates for 8283 posts of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in Clerical cadre. Eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023
Age limit :
Unreserved candidate’s age should be between 20-28 years as on 01 April 2023 ( born not earlier than 02.04.1995 and not later than 01.04.2003 (both days inclusive).
Category-wise Upper age relaxation:
- 5 years for SC/ST
- 3 years for OBC
- 10 years for PwBD (Gen/ EWS)
- 13 years for PwBD (OBC)
- 15 years for PwBC (SC/ST)

Educational Qualification (as on 31 December 2023):
Graduation in any discipline or equivalent is required to apply for these posts. Bachelor’s degree should be from a recognized university or institute. Final year / semester candidates can apply but they should ensure their passing certificate date should be on or before 31.12.2023.
Those candidates who are working in SBI Clerical cadre or resigned from this post, are not eligible to apply for this recruitment project.
Application fee (Non-refundable):
General/ OBC/ EWS candidates have to pay Total Rs. 750 while no fee is to be paid by SC/ST/ESM/PwBD/DESM candidates. Fee can be paid through online mode i.e. debit card/ credit
card/ Internet Banking from 17 November to 07 December 2023.
Selection Process :
- Phase 1: Preliminary Exam of 100 marks
- Phase 2: Main Exam of 200 marks
Pre exam is of qualifying nature as final merit list is to be prepared on the basis of marks in Mains exam.
100 objective type questions carrying 100 marks from 3 subjects will be asked in Preliminary examination. These are to be solved in 1 hours time with separate timing of 20 minutes for each subject.
Main exam will have 190 objective questions carrying 200 marks and duration of 2 hours 40 minutes with separate timing and marks for each subject as given in image below.
Test of Local Language:
Those who qualify for selection and producte 10th 12th certificate of having studied the specified opted local language will not have to appear for Local Language test. In case of others, this test will be held failing which appointment will not be done.

Before applying online, Candidate should have to first scan their photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression, hand-written declaration and SBI Apprenticeship Certificate (if applicable). They should have a valid email ID and mobile number to apply online. These should be kept active till the declaration of results. Candidate may be sent email / SMS regarding call letter / advices through these.
To submit online form of SBI Clerk Vacancy 2023, candidate should visit direct link below. They have to enter their personal details i.e. name, address, aadhar number, mobile no., email, age, educational qualification etc. and submit the data. After successful submission, a registration number and password will be generated. Candidates can edit their particulars at this stage by login but this facility is available three times only.
After ensuring all details correct, candidate should pay fee through online payment gateway. On successful transaction, the website will generate e-receipt and application form with fee details.
