UPSSSC Forest Guard (Van Rakshak) Recruitment 2023 for 709 Posts

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released recruitment advertisement no. 10-exam/2023 for 709 posts of Forest Guard (Van Rakshak) and Wildlife Guard (Vanya Jeev Rakshak) through main exam. Eligible candidates can submit their online forms from 20 September to 10 October 2023 through UPSSSC official website upsssc.gov.in. Important dates: Online form submission starts: 20 September 2023 Last date to Apply online and fee payment: 10 October 2023 Last date for correction in application and paying correction charges: 17 October 2023 Admit card release date: few days before exam Tentative Exam Date: to be declared				Application fee : All Categories : Rs. 25/- Fee can be paid only through online modes i.e. Credit or Debit cards, Net Banking and SBI E-challan. Payment acknowledgement receipt (PAR) will be generated after payment of fee having all details of transaction.
Educational Qualification: appeared for Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) - 2022 and given scores Passed Intermediate from UP Board or equivalent qualification Preferential qualification (any one of following): 2 years service in Territorial army. NCC 'B' certificate Certificate in computer application from state or central government recognized institute. Represented State in any game.				Age limit as on 01 July 2023: 18-40 years for Unreserved/EWS category candidates Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per Uttar Pradesh Govt rules. Physical Standard Test (PET):

Candidate need to meet following physical requirement to apply for these posts.

1. Male:

Height:

• 160 cms for ST Category and 168 cms for other categories

Chest : 

• 82 cms for ST and 84 cms for other categories with 5 cms expansion

2. Female:

Height:

• 147 cms for ST Category and 152 cms for other categories
• Weight: 45-58 kgs

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - qualifying nature:

• Male candidates have to complete race of 25 kilometers in 4 hours time carring a load of 10 kgs. 
• Female candidates have to complete race of 14 kilometers in 4 hours time. 

Selection process:

• Main exam
• PET & PST
• Medical Exam

UPSSSC will first declare eligibility result showing cut off marks of candidates who will be called to appear for main exam.
