Dearness Allowance (DA) has been increased from 38% to 42% w.e.f. January 2023.

Salary Calculation formula

Total Salary per month = Basic Pay of the post + DA (34% of basic pay) + HRA (27% for Class X and 18% for Class Y and 9% for Class Z cities) + TA (3600 for Class X and 1800 for Class Y/Z cities)+Other Allowances (If Applicable)

SSC CGL Pay Scale: List of Group C Posts and their department:

Pay Level-5 (Rs 29200 to 92300)

• Auditor in Offices under C&AG, Offices under CGDA, Other Ministry/ Departments
• Accountant in Offices under C&AG
• Accountant/ Junior Accountant in Other Ministry/ Departments

Pay Level-4 (Rs 25500 to 81100)

• Senior Secretariat Assistant/ Upper Division Clerks in Central Govt. Offices/ Ministries other than CSCS cadres
• Tax Assistant in CBDT, CBIC
• Sub-Inspector in Central Bureau of Narcotics

In CGL, All Posts are Gazetted except Assistant Audit officer and Assistant Accounts Officer.

 

Other Group C Posts includes Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Constable GD, Sub Inspector, Inspector in Delhi Police CAPFs, Multitasking Staff, Selection posts etc.

SSC CHSL Pay Scale : List of Group C Posts with their Pay Scale:

Pay Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300) : Data Entry Operator (DEO)
Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100): Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (Grade ‘A’), Data Entry Operator (DEO)
Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200): Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)

LDC DEO UDC posts work includes Clerical data entry on computer in Central Government offices. Candidates can get promotions through Departmental examinations.

SSC Constable GD Pay Scale

• For Sepoy in NCB: Pay Level–1 (Rs.18,000 to 56,900)
• For Other Posts : Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100) for all others posts

SSC Multitasking Staff (MTS) Pay Scale

• Level–1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs.18,000 to 56,900)
